About Us

Waco, Texas

Solid wood, built to order.

The Wood Shack Shop is a small furniture shop at 1124 N Loop Dr in Waco, Texas. We offer handcrafted solid wood furniture — record player stands, TV consoles, console tables, vanities, coffee tables, desks, tree bookshelves, benches and lighting — built to order and shipped free across the United States.

Why solid wood

Furniture made from veneer over particleboard looks fine for a year or two, then chips, sags and ends up at the curb.

We stick to solid hardwood with real joinery and hand-applied finishes, so a scratch can be sanded out and a dry top can be re-oiled at home.

How an order works

Choose a piece and its size, and it goes into the build queue. Most pieces take about 2–4 weeks to build, then travel free to you in 5–10 business days.

Because every slab is different, grain, knots and live edges vary — the design and dimensions match the listing.

What we build

Record stands, TV consoles & vanities — record player stands, TV consoles, sideboards, entry console tables and floating bathroom vanities.
Coffee tables, side tables & desks — live-edge and sculpted coffee tables, side and bedside tables, a dining table and desks.
Tree bookshelves, wall shelves & wine shelves — tree and branch bookshelves, floating and corner shelves, mantel shelves and wine holders.
Benches, cat trees, lamps & wall art — sculptural benches, cat trees, coat racks, wall lamps, pendants and 3D wall art.
